Hello, I'm Imogen.

Actor, writer and producer originally from Manchester, UK.

As an actor, I've worked on both stage and screen - from classical theatre to musicals to contemporary new writing, indie short films and one-woman shows. I love the process of stepping into different worlds, telling engaging stories and playing make-believe with brilliant creative teams.

As an artist I deeply believe in craft and I have been acting most of my life (since I rolled up to summer acting classes at M6 Theatre when I was 9 years old), since then my skills are always evolving through training and experience - most recently I completed my MA in Acting for Stage, Screen and Radio at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama (RWCMD). It was during this time that I took more seriously my curiosity about storytelling beyond performance - I've always had a Pandora box of ideas rattling around in my head, and over time I began exploring what might happen if I gave those ideas a life of their own. Writing and producing have since become a natural extension of my work as an actor - creating stories, characters and opportunities to collaborate, while continuing to develop my practice as a performer.

As a writer, I'm heavily inspired by my surroundings. Many of my projects begin with a place and a question that refuses to leave me alone. I'm fascinated by unearthing extraordinary stories hidden in plain sight and creating work that invites audiences to see the world from a fresh perspective, finding the medium best suited to tell each story.
